I have to admit New York Comic Con 2011 is turning out to be one interesting event…I must confess, it is my first time attending. I just survived 2 hours of DAY 1 and I really don’t have much to report other than LOVE LOVE LOVE THE VIBE!!!

Well…I will admit that I didn’t really read GREEN LANTERN much as a kid and from what the trailer looked like, I was a bit concerned. Well, I kind of felt like I saw the entire movie in the trailer. SMH! The actor playing GREEN LANTERN didn’t come off as an “eye candy”. I know, so sexist of me—sorry but he sort of messed with my fantasy…er, let’s keep this PG! LOL! But that’s my take…I might have to read a couple of comicbooks before watching the movie in order to appreciate it. OR maybe I’ll just skip it. What do you say?

However you celebrate or acknowledge the 4th of July…make it a safe and memorable one! For me, its all about the fireworks! Good food and great company can come and go but there is something captivating about fireworks that brings out the kid in me. Yeah, sometimes the loudness of it makes my insides jump but I still love to see the pay off of the colors. An amazing fireworks display for me is when it is combined with music. If you are where you can’t hear music, put your headphones on playing the music YOU like and I’m sure your appreciation for fireworks will increase.
